Hey there! Brand new member here. Couldn't spell Pachislo before this morning...
I found a slot machine in my neighbour's trash, and with permission, I have liberated it to my basement. It appears to be an Aruze Continental XXXX with custom stickers / belly glass. When it starts up, it shows code 'CJ', and with a bit of google-ing, I have discovered that the unit is missing its coin mechanism / token mechanism.
I think it takes an 'M' series coin mech, but I don't know if it is an M-2, M-3, M-4, M-5, or M-6. Or maybe I'm completely wrong. There is an empty connector CN25 that appears to be for the coin mechanism; it is a 9 conductor connector, exactly 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) wide.
My first question is obvious ... are you able to tell me what model of coin mechanism that I need ?
My second question ... any ideas where I can get one ?
Thanks!
Ted.
